Busy Bees: older three's

Older threes in the Bee room become quite independent. Children are given opportunities to express themselves by cutting with scissors, pasting, building, drawing, writing, building, and dressing up. Children develop important self-help skills by pouring their own milk, serving their plate at lunch, and zipping their own coats.

Children in this class have access to both the playground and various outdoor spaces around campus, as well as flexible outdoor time. Nature walks, playing instruments and dancing to music, storytime, and sand and water play are all integral to the curriculum. Teachers help children develop handwriting skills and work together to solve problems with their peers.
